Touchable -The Frilli Gallery for the new blind path inside the Grand Museum of the Opera del Duomo.

On the occasion of the inauguration of the new blind path inside the Museum of the Opera del Duomo, Frilli Gallery has lent to the Museum a faithful replica of two panels from the gilded bronze doors of the Florence Baptistry, to enable blind visitors, but not only, to ultimately touch these high relief artworks.
The Creation and the Original Sin, is the scene depicted in the panel replica available from the Gates of Paradise.
The Annunciation is the scene depicted in the panel replica from the North Door.
The Frilli Gallery has been entitled to the prestigious honor of being present inside the blind path, because of its long established collaboration with the Opera del Duomo institution and the full size museum quality replica it has produced for the Florence Baptistry in substitution of the originals.
Frilli Gallery is currently working at casting in this foundry the twin replica of the South Door by Andrea Pisano. A work that will last for about two years, after which these museum quality reproductions will be exhibited in place of the originals on the Florence Baptistry.
