Sarah Kalimeraki, born in London 1961, studied at the City and Guilds of London art school, 1985/1988 stone/wood carving, lettering and gilding architectural ornament, sculpture and  life modelling from figure. Sarah then went into the stone trade and carved on many prestigious contracts, architectural ornament, and sculpture. Later working in Italy and concentrating on carving marble sculpture. Sarah  creates her pieces entirely by hand and she works by traditional methods to keep a high quality of work using the ancient methods of pointing machine and compass to measure.
