A White Mistral in February in Florence. Emmanuel Fillion.

Frilli Gallery, via dei Fossi 26/r, Florence

A cold, icy and dry wind shakes the rooms upon its arrival, announces a storm but in reality quickly calms the sky which caresses her face while her clothes are still shaken by the current. Mistraline is Priestess of the White Mistral, who, like the one who freed her from the block of marble, comes from France, with an elegant gait and a strong touch to scratch that hard white material.

Emmanuel Fillion imagines this mythical figure as a totem suspended in the wind, almost without touching the ground, she stands inspired with her eyes closed as if listening to a melody that enraptures her, perhaps the hiss of the wind that carries her aloft.

Happy to have welcomed this poem by Emmanuel for the first time.
