The Danish artist Bjorn Skaarup realized a series called “Carnival of the animals”, from the musical suite of the same name, written by the French composer Camille Saint-Saens, which transform animal attributes into music.
The artist creates a world of joy and delightful humor. He draws from many traditions and he is inspired also by Aesop’s Fables, who was an ancient Greek storyteller. Many his tales are characterized by animals that have human features.
Here he represents a frog on a bouncing ball who aim to leap higher and higher.
