The Danish artist Bjorn Skaarup realized a series called “Carnival of the animals”, from the musical suite of the same name, written by the French composer Camille Saint-Saens, which transform animal attributes into music.
The artist creates a world of joy and delightful humour. He draws from many traditions and he is inspired also by Aesop’s Fables, an ancient who was an ancient Greek storyteller. Many his tales are characterized by animals that have human features.
The cheetah is the fastest known animal, but this clever cheetah longs to travel ever faster and uses a man-made scooter.
